This item has been tested and the Light works in the snow globe and it Plays Poor Unfortunate Souls. There are a few chips on this piece. Please view all photos as they are part of the description. The battery compartment is clean. Requires 3AA batteries for the light (The on off button is on the wall on the left-hand side of the piece) Approximate measurements, 9-1/2× 10-1/2x 10 And weighs almost 10 pounds. See all pics as you get the actual item! Especially with hooks mustache fully intact! Beautiful piece of Disney art and has wonderful artwork, colors and design. Large piece, very detailed, all functions work as they should (lights and sounds), This is a very hard to find piece and would definitely be a perfect addition to any Disney Figurine collection. Look at the pictures carefully, this is the exact item you will receive. This looks totally awesome when lighted up! Note when in full darkness the light in the eyes kinda shows through the thin paint around the eyeballs as well and not just the eyeballs if that makes sense(like eyelids eyebrows as slightly surrounding)-(factory made this way). Size: 9 1/2 H x 9 1/8 W x 9 1/4 D. No COA is included. (i dont believe that it came with one new). Hand-painted sculpted resin statue featuring Maleficent, inspired by her appearance in Walt Disneys Sleeping Beauty animated film (1959), and included as part of a group of Disney Villains with Cruella De Vil (101 Dalmatians), Captain Hook (Peter Pan), Scar (The Lion King), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Old Hag (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) and Jafar (Aladdin) all standing within Maleficents flowing robes and encircling a green bubbling The Black Cauldron, from which emerges Chernabog (Fantasia) who is contained inside a glass snow globe with iridescent glitter and black birds confetti that swirl when the snow globe is shaken. Each of the Villains is accented with a mix of both inset clear glass and green painted bubbles while two of Maleficents Goons stand hidden behind her, holding weapons with an impaled skull. All of the Villains eyes as well as the bubbling contents of the cauldron are cast in a translucent yellow resin and light-up with a switch located on the underside of the base, which is powered by three (3) AA batteries. A music box plays Grim Grinning Ghosts and is activated with a wind-up key that is located on the side of the base. A few stickers on base are slightly peeling up some. RARE Disney Villains Snowglobe. From Sleeping Beauty, the dragon Maleficent scales the rocky cliff as Sorceress Maleficent stands proudly atop the castle tower in her water globe (glitter globe) with her faithful crow Diablo. Beautiul attention to details in both the bases and figures! Plays “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” by J. WITH ORIGINAL BOX and protective styrofoam inserts. The box is in excellent condition on 3 sides but has damage on the 4th.
