Be Smart, Check in Advance. CARFAX — Your Vehicle History.

CARFAX — Your Vehicle History Expert

Sometimes what you don't know can't hurt you, but that's not the case when buying a used car. As an independent vehicle history provider, at CARFAX we've made it our mission to tell you everything you need to know by uncovering as many events as possible from the previous life of a used car. Our primary goal is to help you get to know your next car from the inside out before deciding to make an investment that will be part of you and your family's everyday life. We believe your next car shouldn't be hiding anything from you.

CARFAX Vehicle History Reports contain over 28 billion historical records from 20 European countries, the US and Canada, which are updated daily with new information.

Even if you live in a country we don't collect vehicle data from, it's still always worth checking the Vehicle Identification Number without obligation. The used car import and export market is booming and many owners would be surprised to find out exactly what happened to their vehicle during its previous life abroad.

Privacy for Customers — Transparency over Vehicles

Let's be clear: Although we strive to find every detail of a vehicle's life so far, we are focused only on the vehicle's history, and do not collect any information on previous owners. The information we provide relates solely to the vehicle, its odometer reading, any accidents that have been covered up, where the vehicle comes from and much more — it never gets personal. We've uncovered irreparable damage several times in the past, but other times our vehicle history checks draw a blank — and sometimes that's actually a good thing.

Second Hand — Not Second Best

Did you know that considerably more used cars are sold than new cars? We think this second-hand system is nothing short of fantastic. However, it goes without saying that it gives rise to different methods and tactics: Some sellers will disguise a car that's been in an accident under a fresh coat of paint, tamper with the odometer or conceal theft. This is one of the less appealing aspects of buying second hand. Our goal is to establish trusting relationships between buyers and sellers, since this is the best way to help customers make the right decision. Your new car should be reliable and make you feel safe, as well as make you feel like you haven't paid too much.

But more than anything else, we don't want you or your family unknowingly sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle that isn't 100% safe. This is why we strive to take these vehicles off the road, which not only makes the used car market safer but our streets safer too.

CARFAX — 35+ Years of Experience in Vehicle Histories

CARFAX was founded in the US in 1984 and expanded into Europe in 2007. Around 100 team members spread across six European offices process vehicle information from 22 countries.

Fostering strategic partnerships with registration authorities, law enforcement agencies, government departments, insurance companies, inspection centers and numerous other leading companies around the world has enabled us to compile a unique international database for vehicle histories. We use this database to help make the used car market more transparent. We give everyone in the process of buying a used car access to what is currently the world's most comprehensive source for vehicle history reports, and is growing day by day.

We remain neutral and independent despite our partnerships — our sole purpose is help customers make an informed choice and ensure their safety and the safety of their family. This includes never collecting any personal details — we do not accept any PII from data sources amongst the information we provide about a vehicle. We ensure that data protection laws are observed at all times. Furthermore, we always collect our data in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks — in all the countries in which we are active. We expressly distance ourselves from illegal activities such as data theft, scraping and hacking.

2005 Toyota Prius - Monster Used Car Value - Prius

After taking on a new job that required a 90 mile round trip commute, I started hunting for used cars with better reliability and gas mileage than my late-90's Subaru Impreza was giving me. Since I'm a huge analytical nerd, I even built a spreadsheet. As much as I wanted something more "fun," the 2005 Prius kept coming out at the top of the list for cheap commuter cars. Even at 115k miles, I was getting 48mpg and didn't have any reliability or drive-ability problems. At the current 175k miles I've put nothing but standard maintenance into the car and the original hybrid battery system is still going strong. Although it's no sports car, this Prius is fast enough to get the job done without other people running me over. The ride is comfortable and I'm not sure I could ask for more witho... (more)

I'm an avid target shooter and there are some great outdoor gun ranges in my area. The utility storage in the trunk is a perfect fit for my rifles, and it's pretty fun to break stereotypes and show up to the range in a Prius!

The price is pro number one. In the used market, I'm not sure there's a commuter car more affordable than the 2nd generation Prius. Between the low purchase price, high reliability, and fantastic gas mileage, I'm not sure a better deal could be found. The car is amazingly roomy as well. Don't let the outside fool you, I've moved many large purchases home with this thing. Furniture from Ikea, lawn mowers and giant rugs from Home Depot, you name it! I also gig around with my band and all my guitar equipment fits under the hatch with room to spare.

Road noise on the highway is a bit more than larger, more expensive cars. Other than that, the only complaint I have is how other drivers treat me on my usual commute. There seems to be a lot of inexplicable "Prius hate" in the world.

2005 Toyota Prius - Toyota Prius, a pretty good car

My family bought a Prius new to replace a gas-guzzling Ford Mustang. It became our preferred car for grocery shopping and hauling the dogs around, and has been great for road trips. The interior is comfortable and has a nice amount of headroom even for tall people, and the seats adjust well for everyone. Visibility is very good for all points around the driver. The ride is very smooth and quiet.

One of our first road trips in this car was to Elephant Rocks State Park and a nearby campground. After years of having coupes and sports cars, it was wonderful to be able to fit everything in the car and still be able to see out the back window.

It's great to not have to stop for gas as often on road trips. I primarily drive around town now, at speeds lower than 50mph, and the mileage is so good that I usually only have to fill up once a month. It's a nice sized car as well. We've used it to haul lawn mowers, televisions, groceries, furniture, and camping gear. The seats are easy to fold down and lay very flat. It's got pickup that seems to surprise people too, accelerating quickly and smoothly from a stop.

Be aware that the hybrid battery may die, and if it does, you'll be paying at least $1500 to get it replaced. The cost of the vehicle new is also high, and you may or may not recover these costs in gas savings, depending on your driving style. Also, you need to be aware that the car is very quiet not just on the inside, but the outside as well. Pedestrians will not hear you; you need to be sure they see you, especially in parking lots, if you are going to drive by them.

I'm going to get some medicine," he said, barely moving his tongue. He shook his head, which made the kitchen immediately start to dance around him, but now the courier train rumbled in his headfinally left somewhere. Only the noisy train station remained, where the porters continued to shriek.

I had to treat him with my "Ryabinovka" and Oleg went to a free shop for real cognac. And Sveta dragged me into the hall.

I replied that actually no, but I thought that my time was up. She looked at the clock on the phone. We still have 40 minutes, she said, and then it dawned on me. For some reason I thought that I would finish and the whole game was over. So I endured.

Come on, work as you can, I want to finish normally. Lyosha stuck into her clitoris, and Lucy began to wildly fuck him right in the face and emit cum in portions. - Oh, well, finally I'm done. Don't stop, work your tongue, I can do it one more time. Lusya finished five times and passed out right on the chair, and Lyosha quietly climbed out from under the table and went to his mother.
