Antlers do not fit tightly in the slots on the deer head.
I had given the deer head 5 stars just an hour or so ago on a review and then within 30 minutes of mounting it on the wall, one antler fell out and shattered on my floor. They did not fit tightly into the slots on the head, but I thought surely they will stay in and I was wrong. I think the seller should replace the antler that fell out and also make sure they fit tightly so this does not happen to anyone else.

Good but I altered it to make it better
I saw some cute taxidermy with fabric online and wanted something similar without the high price tag. I bought this, spray painted the antlers and put fabric over the face and it turned out great! The antlers are a little delicate so be careful not to drop them. I did and they broke and it was so hard finding glue that would hold them back together.

Stunning
It is very fragile and I broke my first one so I bought it again. This is beautiful and a perfect size. I glued it to an old mirror and glued silver and pearls to the antlers and it really is stunning. I searched a while before I found the perfect deer head. Great beauty in this piece.

It was nice enough, but very fragile. We didn’t even get it hung before it was broken.
