GTA 5 Wiki Guide
One player (who initiates the heist and functions as the host) serves as the group leader, and must front an initial sum of money in order to start the heist. This money is used to procure equipment and other various items, and will be recouped at the end.
The Heist Leader will not receive payments at the end of each setup mission, but instead will take their entire cut out of a percentage of the final take from the last mission in the heist. Prior to a heist, when working on the plan, it is best to all be working from the same Heists guide. Also, some players have not been happy with the cut that the leader of their heists has given, so you must have some faith in your leader.
The other three members of the heist team will receive payouts at the end of each setup mission, and are free to come and go as they please if they want to leave a heist before the finale. Their cut of the final mission will usually be smaller than the Leaders, but this is made up for by all of the money made during the setups.
In order to initiate a heist and become a crew leader, players must be at least rank 12 in GTA Online and own a high-end apartment. Players who have completed the GTA Online tutorial and are rank 01 or higher can take part in setup and finale missions.
As of August 19, , there are 7 heists available to play in GTA Online.
GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist - what has been added for the island heist?
By Iain Wilson
This is how to visit the private island for the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist
The GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist represented one of the largest updates Rockstar had ever applied to their online world, and was much anticipated before its arrival in December This excitement was due to the introduction of a completely fresh private island location, which was the first new area added since the launch of GTA Online back in Bear in mind that you can't just grab a boat or plane and head over to this remote paradise, as access is based around planning and executing a heist there and things aren't as idyllic as they seem in the luxurious surrounding.
For the first time in the game you can now complete this heist entirely solo, so you don't have to rely on a crew if you want to go your own way. Whatever your approach, there's plenty of loot to be had – including GTA Online Treasure Chests and the new GTA Online Panther Statue – if you play your cards right, so here's everything you need to know about the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist.
GTA Online media sticks | GTA Online antennas | GTA Online Solomon movie props | GTA Online serial killer | GTA Online peyote plants | GTA Online signal jammers | GTA Online action figures | GTA Online playing cards | GTA Online casino cars | GTA Online Lucky Wheel glitch | GTA Online Prime Gaming benefits | GTA 6
How do you start the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist
To get started on the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist, you need to head to The Music Locker, the new nightclub that's opened under The Diamond Casino. There you'll meet Miguel Madrazo, son of Martin Madrazo, who fills you in on his plan to stage a heist on Cayo Perico and recover incriminating evidence about his family. After that, you'll need to purchase the Kosatka submarine HQ from Warstock Cache and Carry, which will serve as your base of operations for planning and executing the new heist and can be decked out with various upgrades including the GTA Online sonar station.
Once you own the Kosatka, you'll need to head out to your submarine to start the planning phase of the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist. Unfortunately as there are no living quarters aboard the sub, you can't use the spawn option to fast travel there so you'll have to get there the old-fashioned way. When you reach the coast, you can use the Interaction Menu > Services > Kosatka > Request Dinghy option to spawn a boat nearby to get you out to the sub. If you can't find your submarine on the map, check the Interaction Menu > Services > Kosatka > Request Kosatka option to make sure it isn't currently in storage.
How do you access the GTA Online Cayo Perico island
If you've gone to the map to see where the GTA Online Cayo Perico island is, then unfortunately you're going to be disappointed. As things stand, the private island is a completely separate location that can only be accessed while working on the new heist, and is not available in free roam to explore at your leisure. At any point during the heist setup, you can access the island to scope it out for additional intel, which is as close to free roam as you can get. After completing the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist as host you can return and attend the beach party, but this won't allow you to explore the rest of the island unfortunately.
What areas of the island do you need to scope for the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist
After sneaking away from the party on the island, you'll need to reach the entrance of El Rubio's compound without getting spotted by the guards or security cameras. You can see their cones of vision on your minimap, so as long as you stay off the roads and keep an eye on what's nearby you should be fine. You can also jump in the water off the west coast and swim around all the guards if you want to avoid them completely. Once you reach the communications tower and hack the signal box, you'll need to configure the connections as follows:
You can then scan through the security cameras to identify useful intel for the carrying out the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist. The following items can be identified as you cycle through the cameras by pressing right:
- Basement: Madrazo files
- Basement Storage: Cash
- Office - Cam 1: Fingerprint scanner
- West Storage - Cam 1: Painting, Cash
- North Storage - Cam 1: Cash
- North Storage - Cam 2: Gold
- South Storage - Cam 1: Cash
- South Storage - Cam 2: Gold
- North Gate: North Gate entry point
- North Wall: North Wall entry point
- South Gate: South Gate entry point
- South Wall: South Wall entry point
With that done, you then need to head to the North Dock undetected, and again you can swim to it and avoid any guard attention. When you get there, you'll find the weed in the westmost warehouse building, and the bolt cutters are on top of an electrical box by the dock opposite. With those identified, you're free to explore the rest of the island and scope out further areas to help with planning the new heist. We suggest visiting the following locations:
- Main Dock infiltration point
- North Drop Zone infiltration point
- Control Tower point of interest
You'll be automatically directed to flag the Control Tower to Pavel when you return to the airstrip anyway, so grab that and any other locations of interest then speak to your pilot to fly back to Los Santos. Once there, return to the Kosatka submarine HQ to plan the next stages of your heist.
What is the GTA Online Heist payout for Cayo Perico
The GTA Online Heist payout for completing the Cayo Perico job depends on a number of factors, but mainly the primary target you steal and how much secondary loot you secure along the way. During your recon you'll identify cash, weed, cocaine, gold, and paintings that can be sold to the buyer in addition to the primary target, but as there's only so much that each player can carry, teaming up with others can help you score a larger payout overall. The primary targets have the follow values on normal and hard difficulty:
- Madrazo Files (first playthrough only) - $m
- Sinsimito Tequila - $k / $k
- Ruby Necklace - $1m / $m
- Bearer Bonds - $m / $m
- Pink Diamond - $m / $m
- Panther Statue - $m / $m
What vehicles were added with the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist
The main new vehicle available with the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist update is of course the Kosatka submarine, available from Warstock Cache and Carry. The starting price is $m, though optional extras including a sonar station, guided missiles, a weapon workshop, and built in Sparrow helicopter and Kraken Avisa minisub can take the total cost up to $m if you select everything. GTA 5 Wiki Guide
The Cayo Perico Heist is a Heist in Grand Theft Auto Online which tasks players with infiltrating a fortified island to obtain sensitive documents and return them to the Madrazo crime family (and steal whatever isn’t nailed down).
Players: (Heist Prep, Setup, and Finale Mission)
An infamous drug lord, who goes by the name “El Rubio,” has stolen sensitive documents from the Madrazo crime family, and is attempting to blackmail them. The Madrazos will stop at nothing to get them back, and have enlisted your aid, as well as that of a Russian submarine operator named Pavel, to infiltrate Cayo Perico and steal them back.
This is the first GTA OnlineHeist that can be completed solo, but you can also bring along your trusted allies to make things interesting.
Before You Get Started
To begin The Cayo Perico Heist, you’ll need to sort out a few things first. First, you’ll need to be a VIP, CEO, or Motorcycle Club (MC) President. You can register in the SecuroServ section (or other parts) of the Interaction Menu to make that happen.
Additionally, if you don’t already own a Penthouse at the Diamond Casino and Resort, you’ll need to buy one.
Head to the Diamond Casino and head inside, then turn left and approach the customer service desk. The terminal on the far left side of the desk is the Penthouse computer, so use it to purchase a Penthouse.
Once you own a Penthouse, you’ll gain access to The Music Locker, a club in the basement of The Diamond.
From the customer service desk at The Diamond Casino, turn around and take the elevator down to The Music Locker. Once you reach the bottom, exit the elevator and head down the spiral staircase. Take the door on the left to enter the club.
Once you are inside, make your way through the dance floor and head to the VIP section on the left to initiate a short cutscene.
After meeting Miguel Madrazo, who will ask you to infiltrate Cayo Perico and take back some sensitive files the drug lord “El Rubio” has in his possession, leave the casino.
Open your phone menu (Triangle/Y) and head to the Internet app, then go to Warstock Cache & Carry. The top option should be the “Kosatka” submarine, which you’ll need to purchase to proceed.
Once you’ve bought the Kosatka, you’ll have access to your new contact, and submarine operator, Pavel.
Open the Interaction Menu (hold down Touchpad/View button for several seconds) and select Services, then go to Kosatka and request the vehicle. If you are close to the coast, it will surface nearby.
Next, use the same menu to Request A Dinghy, which will spawn a boat near your location.
Climb aboard and ride out to the Kosatka, then climb on top and find a hatch, then head inside to meet Pavel. After a short cutscene, you’ll gain access to the bridge.
After selecting the first leg of the Heist from the terminal, you’ll need to meet Dave and Keinemusik at the LSIA Private Terminal in southern Los Santos.
Use a dinghy to get back to land, then drive to the airport. Approach the southeastern gate, then cross the runway to find the private hangar.
Approach to initiate the cutscene. Once it’s over, you’ll be on the island with El Rubio.
Hop into the driver’s seat and drive your host to his compound, then, after the show starts, sneak away.
Once you are outside, you have a few options. You can cut left and find a boat to take to the other side of the island and get there a bit faster, or you can cut right and make your way through the island’s defenses on foot.
Avoid being seen by cameras and guards and you’ll arrive outside El Rubio’s compound.
Pavel will call and tell you about a communications tower you can use to hack into the CCTVs and find the vault.
Make your way to the tower, then head through the gate and climb the ladder to reach the upper platform. Turn right to find the box, then hack in and solve the puzzle to gain access.
Cycle through the cameras until you find the Basement feed, then turn the camera left to get a view of the safe.
Keep cycling through the cameras until you find Office - Cam 1, which is El Rubio’s office. It has a fingerprint lock on an elevator leading to the basement, which is the last thing you need to finish this leg of the Heist.
Feel free to look through other cameras to find optional rewards like cash, weapons, and more, or leave now to continue.
Once you are done scoping out the compound, head to the North Dock to continue. Once you arrive, take a picture of the water, then send it to Pavel (Square/X button).
After that, search the surrounding warehouses and send Pavel more pictures of things you will be able to steal once the Heist is underway.
Finally, you’ll need to find some Bolt Cutters. Head towards the water from the first warehouse and you’ll find them sitting on a ledge. Take a picture and send it to Pavel, then you’ll have to make a choice.
At this point, you can continue scouting the island and taking note of additional valuables, but you also have all the essentials needed to begin the next phase of the Heist. Gather what information you like, then head back to the airfield.
Once you reach the runway, Pavel will radio and tell you he needs a photo of the control tower. Head down the runway and get a picture, then send it to him. Once that’s done, head back to the main building, just off the runway, and speak to the pilot to return to Los Santos.
Make your way back to the Kosatka and access the planning board to begin the next section.
Heist Prep: Approach Vehicles
At this point, you’ll need to complete a Heist Prep Mission, which will be different based on which vehicle you want to use to infiltrate Cayo Perico.
Heist Prep - Submarine: Kosatka
We’re going with the Kosatka approach, so head to the highlighted section of the seas around Los Santos in the Kosatka, where we’ll approach the Merryweather Test Site to obtain a sonar scrambler.
Use the Periscope to target and fire missiles at the boats and helicopter near the base, then jump into the water and dive. Approach the submarine’s glowing yellow hatch to head inside.
Equip some Body Armor and a close-range weapon like a Shotgun or SMG, then make your way to the bridge. Check your corners, as enemies are hiding to shoot you as you pass.
Once you reach the Bridge, take out the crew there and grab the package, then head back out the way you came in and board the Kosatka to complete the mission.
Heist Prep: Equipment
Once you’ve secured your approach vehicle, you’ll need to obtain some equipment to make the break-in possible. You have a few options, but you’ll need to get most of them before moving on to the Heist Finale.
Heist Prep - Equipment: Cutting Torch
If you want to complete a stealth Heist, which is by far the safest route when completing the Cayo Perico Heist by yourself, you’ll need to get the Cutting Torch.
This Heist Prep Mission becomes available after you have scoped out the Drainage Grate Infiltration Spot, so make sure you’ve done that in Heist Intel before attempting to proceed.
Select the mission from the Heist Prep station, then take a Dinghy ashore and grab a vehicle. Drive to the construction site and head to the glowing yellow spot in the elevator to proceed inside the building.
From there, continue to climb the ramps and stairs to reach the rooftop, where the Cutting Tool is located.
Before heading to the area where the construction workers are patrolling, pick up a Hardhat and equip it. This will enable you to blend in, as long as you still try to avoid staying too close to enemies for too long.
From there, head down into the construction site and look for toolboxes with glowing green arrows. Head from toolbox to toolbox until you’ve found the cutting tool, then grab it.
If you are seen, there aren’t many enemies, although the majority of them have are heavily armed (for some reason). Take any hostile forces out and head back to the elevator to return to ground level.
Get back in your car and outrun the hostile players or NPCs. Make your way back to the Kosatka to complete the mission and unlock the stealthy approach in the Heist Finale.
Heist Prep - Equipment: Demolition Charges
If you don't want to do the "stealthy" approach, you can opt to use Demolition Charges in your assault. In order to secure the Demolition Charges, select the prep mission from the Kosatka menu, and a waypoint will be set on the northeastern part of Los Santos.
Head to the marked area to find the O’Neil Brothers. There are nine of them, and they put up quite a fight, so be sure to bring body armor and heavy weapons.
Once they are all dead, Pavel will note that the demolition charges aren’t here, and he’ll direct you to the O’Neil home, instead.
Make your way there and head inside, then clear them out until one of them drops a security card, which grants access to the basement, where the explosives are kept.
Pick up the keycard, then head to the basement gate and unlock it. Head down to the basement and take out the two guards there, then pick up the crate of explosives and head back to your car.
Your location will shortly be broadcast to other players, so hurry back to your Dinghy and the Kosatka to complete the mission.
Heist Prep - Equipment: Safe Code
You’ll need a Safe Code to gain access to the files Madrazo wants, so accept this section of Heist Prep from the planning station aboard the Kosatka, then head to the Diamond Casino.
Approach the elevator to initiate a cutscene and move to the penthouse floor. Follow the hallways around to Apartment , then use a silenced weapon to take out the guards and maintain the element of surprise.
Head inside and kill all the guards until you find the head of security. Check Pavel’s picture in the Messages section of your phone to get an idea of what they look like, if you need.
Once the head of security is dead, take the safe codes from their body, then head back to the elevators. Kill the guards or simply run to the glowing elevator to escape the casino.
Escape from the cops (or simply allow yourself to be killed), and you’ll complete the mission.
Heist Prep - Equipment: Fingerprint Cloner
In order to obtain the Fingerprint Cloner, you’ll need to select it from the Prep screen on Kosatka. Pavel will give you a waypoint in town, so head there and you’ll find a yellow glowing area you can use to enter the warehouse.
Guarding the entrance are two security cameras. If you find the box nearby, you can shut the security system off, but it’s honestly easy to just go in, guns blazing, so head inside.
Take out the handful of guards, then approach the table in the back to find the laptop which holds the archive location.
Complete a small hacking minigame to obtain the information you need, then head back outside.
Pavel will give you the second location, so head there next.
There are no guards in this section, but there are still two cameras, so go ahead and destroy them before heading inside.
Quickly move to the tables in the back to find the Fingerprint Cloner, then head back outside.
At this point, you’ll have a short time before your location is broadcast to other players.
Return to the Kosatka to complete the prep mission.
Heist Prep: Weapon Loadout
Now that your Approach Vehicle and Equipment is taken care of, it’s time to secure your Weapon Loadout.
- Crack Shot
Heist Prep - Weapon Loadout: Conspirator
We chose to pick up the Conspirator Weapons Loadout. Select it from the menu aboard the Kosatka, then head outside.
For this mission, you’ll need to head to Vespucci. Make your way there and you’ll have the option to go in the front door, guns blazing, or via the roof.
If you decide to take the direct approach, take out the guards outside the office, then head inside to reach the proper floor.
Use a Shotgun, or other close-range weapon to take out everyone in the office, then approach the laptop towards the back of the office.
Complete a short hacking minigame, then examine the wall nearby to find the weapons locker.
Grab the weapons and head outside, where you’ll be attacked by two helicopters.
Either take them out or try to outrun them back to the Kosatka. Once you head inside, you'll complete the mission, and be able to move on to the Finale.
Now that all of the Prep work is done, you are ready to initiate the Finale. At this point, you can select from any of the options you’ve prepared for, and you can Hire Support Crew to assist you during the mission (even if you are playing Solo).
Keep in mind that those Crew members will cost you money to hire, and you’ll need to select certain approaches, or complete additional objectives during the Heist, to make use of them.
Once you are ready to go, select Start from the menu aboard the Kosatka and the Finale will begin.
Heist Finale - The Grate
We’re choosing a stealthy approach, using the Kosatka to approach and cut through the drainage grate. This will allow us to avoid the vast majority of enemies during the Heist, and it will allow us to complete it in pure stealth, minimizing the risk of failure, even while playing solo.
Swim from the Kosatka to the grate, past the mines, then use the Cutting Tool to sever the grate at the highlighted green points.
Once you are through, continue swimming up through the tunnel and into the glowing yellow area to enter El Rubio’s compound.
Once you are inside, you’ll be very close to El Rubio’s office. Facing the ocean, turn right and head up the stairs, then turn right again.
During the Heist, you’ll need to keep a close eye on patrolling enemies via your minimap. Once you have an opening, head to the well-lit room ahead with the dartboard, and wait for another clearing in enemy patrols.
Once the path ahead is clear, head up the stairs to the right and you’ll see a multi-story building on your left. This is the goal.
Climb that staircase and head left, around the corner and kill the guard with a suppressed headshot. Continue around the corner and up the stairs to find the entrance to El Rubio’s office, stealthily killing each guard you come across. One of them should drop a gate key that we’ll use during the escape
Approach the desk to pick up a key, then move to the keypad and begin hacking it.
You’ll need to solve several fingerprint cloning puzzles, so make the figure on the left match the one on the right to complete it and proceed.
Once you’ve finished it, head into the elevator and ride it to the bottom. Once you reach the bottom, use the Cutting Tool to break through the gate, then turn left.
Pavel will message you the code for the safe, so use it to open it, securing the Madrazo Files.
Once you’ve picked up the files, head right to reach a gate with a keycode entry gate, then use the key you got from the guard to bypass it.
Turn left and head back up to the main area. At this point, all you have to do is get to an exfiltration point, so move past the guards the same way you did on the way in.
Head towards the glowing yellow spot near the gate to exit the compound, then either grab a vehicle or run towards your chosen escape point to complete the Heist and claim your reward.

Grand Theft Auto Online
This guide covers the GTA Online heists series starting with The Fleeca Job and cumulating with The Pacific Standard Job. If you are looking for Diamond Casino Heist guides check out our Big Con, Silent & Sneaky and Aggressive approach guides.
Heists are an important element of Grand Theft Auto Online, and possibly one of the most integral parts of progression in the game.
They are the game's stand-in for end-content, being among the most difficult and most lucrative activities you can do. Heists require teamwork, coordination and skill, and completing them successfully will reward you accordingly.
If you're saving up for something big, chances are you'll do Heists. They will follow you across your GTA Online career, becoming available early on while staying relevant and important even once you've unlocked everything and own a bunch of high-end items.
Heists are broken down into set-up missions and the finale. The set-ups themselves tend to be easier, and aren't particularly rewarding to complete, whereas the finale is the real attraction. It is possible for teams to be backfilled if someone leaves in between missions, however a full team of four is always required for all Heist missions.
Heisting with random players isn't ideal (though not as bad as people say), so we suggest you try and find a team of regulars to play with.
A lot goes into running a successful heist. Knowing the mechanics and special gameplay of the individual set-up missions and the harder finales, as well as knowing what kind of tactics to employ to avoid obvious pitfalls and other fail-states.
Beyond a grasp of how the game works, you'll need to be able to cooperate with your team and listen to what everyone is saying. In order to keep the team coherent and cooperative, you also need to make sure you've distributed the earnings fairly, which is also covered by this guide.
If you reach Rank 12 and have a high-end apartment, you will be able to play 4-player cooperative heists online. Lester will call you, and you’ll need to go see him. After that, Lester will call whenever you can play a new heist, and you can call him to replay a heist.
The time you must wait in between heists is roughly 15 minutes. Heists in GTA Online can be played on three difficulty levels. Playing on Normal earns you twice as much as playing on Easy, and playing on Hard earns you 25% more than playing on Normal.
Once you accept or request a heist, you become the Heist Leader. The Heist Leader can invite any player who has played the GTA Online tutorial through the first LTS job from Gerald. The Leader must front the costs, but also determines how the total payout will be divided.
The ability to split the payout means the Heist Leader can earn a lot of money. If you're hoping to make a lot of money through Heists, work out a plan with your team about how you want to divide the payouts. This is covered later on in the guide.
In addition to the payout division, you'll want to work out in advance the role each player will perform, as explained later on when we get to the set-up missions. Communicating with your teammates will make Heists a lot easier, as will understanding their strengths and weaknesses and being prepared with good equipment such as silencers and body armor.
Heists involve multiple missions. The Heist Leader will earn 10% additional RP from setup missions, but only the other participants will earn money. Setup missions usually earn you around $15k-$20k. Once you finish a single setup mission, all the players will be returned to Freemode. The Heist Leader can then start the next part of the heist.
Back when GTA Online launched, you unlocked Adversary Modes by completing heists. Back then there were only 3 modes available. Today, there are 45 types of Adversary Modes with hundreds of missions, and they are no longer tied to heist completion.
Every heist has its own Elite Challenges.
Here you'll find a general rundown of how the various heists are structured and what each mission leading up to the finale, including said finale, is comprised of. You'll get an idea of what to expect in terms of mechanics and what encounters you'll be facing, so plan accordingly.

To get the Hydra jet, you must finish the third mission, in which you retrieve the EMP. This mission is only available if either you’ve hosted both The Fleeca Job and The Prison Break, or if you’re playing with a host who has. Afterwards, visit the in-game website for Warstock Cash & Carry to purchase a Hydra for $3 million.
To get the Valkyrie combat helicopter, you must finish the fourth mission, in which you steal the Valkyrie. Like with the Hydra, you’ll only be able to access this mission if you or your host has previously hosted The Fleeca Job and The Prison Break. Afterwards, visit the Warstock Cash & Carry site to purchase it for $ million.
The two variants of the HVY Insurgent, also unlocked through this Heist, can be purchased for $, (regular) and $ million (armored).

Collect all of the packages and get back to land through the tunnels, and head to the last objective.
Mission #2 - Steal a garbage truck and then collect garbage bags from four different spots. Watch out for the waves of enemies that will try to stop you. Be careful when fighting at the gas station that you don't blow it up.
Mission #3 - Take silenced weapons to the Dingy and use stealth to take out the enemies in the trailer park. You should split into two groups and coordinate your attacks. Take the van from the north edge of the trailer park and escape, with everyone but the driver shooting your pursuers.
Mission #4 - Have two players act as lookouts and snipers at first while the others remain on the ground. Beware of the train. Clear out the enemies and head for the trucks. Two players should take the gunner truck while the others get the remaining trucks. Escape to the drop off point.
Mission #5 - Go to the farm wearing your mask and take care of the enemies, although you should be all right if you leave some alive. Head to the back and have two players drive trucks in front and behind the tanker to protect it as you make your escape. Explosives may be tempting, but might cause you trouble due to the close range.
Heist Info - Defend the warehouse, both by shooting from cover and using mines when necessary. After that, have two players use the trucks to protect the vans as you move them. When driving, use the bridge as cover if the helicopters are giving you too much trouble, and fend off all enemies until you reach your goal.
Heist #5 – The Pacific Standard Job
Cost – $,
Total Payout – $, (Easy), $1,, (Normal), $1,, (Hard)
Unlockables - Savage, Principe Lectro, and Gang Burrito Van.
Elite Challenges - You finish in less than , NOOSE isn't called, and no player dies.
Mission #1 - You'll take two cars, each of which has a Driver and a Navigator. The Navigators must use their phones to locate vans. You'll need pictures of all the vans' license plates, after which Lester will tell you which one to steal. Steal it and drive it back to him.
Mission #2 - Take the transponder from the stolen van to an island, where Avi Schwartzman is hiding. Take out the helicopter, fight the police on the island, and take Avi to the indicated boat. The next part is a timed mission, but be careful. When you reach the lake, head toward the center so you can shake off police interest, and then drive Avi to your goal.
Mission #3 - Head to Vinewood as two teams: one Transporter and three Decoys. Find the white van and take it to Vinewood Boulevard, where you'll fight a number of enemies. Once the coast is clear, the Transporter player should grab the equipment you need and return to the white van, while the Decoys get into the black van. Distract the enemies until the Transporter reaches the goal, and then destroy the black van.
Mission #4 - First, you must ambush a convoy to steal a military truck, so block the road with as many vehicles as you can. A helicopter will come first, followed by the convoy. Make sure you don't destroy the truck in the fighting. Two players should take the truck, and the other two should take an Insurgent. Head toward the drop-off point, defeat any enemies that remain, and take the truck to the goal.
Mission #5 - Head to the Lost's clubhouse to steal the Lectro sports bikes. Fight the Lost, but make sure you don't destroy the bikes in the process. Steal the bikes and drive to the drop-off point, avoiding the Lost's roadblocks and fighting them along the way.
Tip: as you leave the clubhouse, your map will prompt you to turn right. If you head straight instead, and go right at the next turn, you will bypass the roadblocks.
Heist Info - You'll split into three teams: one Hacker, one for Demolition, and two for Crowd Control. Head to the bank and go inside. The Crowd Control players should kill the guards and keep everyone else intimidated by shooting nearby. The other two must go to the vault.
The Demolition player should use thermite charges on the door at the back of the lobby and the next one at the top of the stairs. When that door opens, one of the Crowd Control players needs to head to the back room to intimidate the tellers and kill any security that arrives. Meanwhile, the Hacker should get through the next door, after which Demolitions will get through the next gate. After that, they should grab the money and meet up with Crowd Control at the exit. Only one player should take the money. Any players with the stolen money will lose some when hit, and it's easier to defend one player than two. The player with the money should try to avoid combat.
A very challenging fight with the police awaits you on the other side, and you'll fail if you try to stay in the bank for too long. Clear out a path and fight your way to the bikes. You can either use them or a car to escape. There should be a police car you can steal, or a SWAT van if the alarm is sounded during the Heist. You also might want to drive the bikes or a car to the Vinewood Police Department to grab the helicopter on the roof. Once you have your vehicle of choice, don't follow the waypoints! Instead, follow the left highway until you reach the cliff, and then parachute (or drive, if you understand the path well enough) to the boat down below. Drive the boat to the goal to complete the final Heist. The player with the money should duck to avoid losing any more along the way.

General Tips For Heists
Get A Vest
As the host of the heist, you have quite a few settings open for you. Before you begin the first set-up, you should select "player saved outfits". Beforehand, it is handy to pick up a heist vest, with is either the black or grey combat vests, as these will significantly boost survivability.
They halve all damage received, regardless where it's coming from, and this effect does not degrade or run out. Use these vests in a heist whenever possible. Granted, they do make you run a tad slower, but you can make up for it with the good old run'n'jump technique. Just keep sprinting and hammer that jump button like there is no tomorrow (be mindful of ledges though, or there really won't be a tomorrow for your character).
Refill Your Supplies
Three things you'll need for a successful heist run is ammo (duh), snacks and armor. What many, many players seem to forget, thus ending up as bloody splats on a wall, is that you can refill and use these from the interaction menu even while in a heist. Now, we're not suggesting you stand around mid-gunfight to fiddle with a menu. While in cover (or if you're the kind of guy that tears toilet paper with one hand, while driving), you can pull up the menu to munch some health back into your system, equip more armor, and to buy more ammunition.
An added bonus is that while you're in cover, running, or driving, you can spam snacks without waiting for the eating animation to play.
In fact, if you don't dally too much, cover is something of a safe haven. Many players aren't mindful of their current status (despite, you know, the bloody red rave show the screen turns into when you're near death). You should always keep track of your health and armor levels, and if you're running low, get into cover and do what we outlined in the previous paragraph.
Know The Map
Map awareness goes a long way. If you're playing the given heist for the first time, you might feel compelled to follow the path the GPS tells you to, helpfully highlighted with yellow navigation lines. While these certainly won't lead you astray, knowing the map, or simply pulling it up, will allow you to find better routes. Most experienced players have their own preferred routes to follow, and these often yield better results.
Your Team Is Critical
One of the biggest problems that heist teams face is coordination and the fact that one guy's inability will drag the other three down too. If the planets align, a blood moon rises and the tides reverse, you might find a heist team of randoms that actually have enough intelligence between the three of them for you pull off a setup successfully. And you can always invite the same trio back for more.
If you do this, remain patient and give them a few minutes as they might be stuck in a loading screen for a while. The way these invite notifications work, they'll see them even in the loading screen, as it arrives via the PS4 or Xbox interface, not the in-game phone.
Set Yourself To Passive
If the inevitable does happen, and someone bites the dust, you can always retry from the last checkpoint, no need to start the whole thing again. A good precaution is to set yourself to passive before the heist begins, because this way some random player, or god forbid, one of your teammates might gun you down after completion just for the laughs, meaning you lose a good portion of the cash you've worked so hard to earn.
The Armored Kuruma
One of the best "jolly jokers" of doing heists is the obscenely overpowered Armored Kuruma. Sitting in that thing is almost like having a bunker as it takes ages for its armor to be whittled down. If you have a Kuruma, bring it. If someone else has a Kuruma, get in. Seriously, if the Kuruma, pulls up, if it keeps honking, or knocking your feeble mortal vehicle that is anything other than a Kuruma, you get out, and get in the Kuruma.
Of course, no vehicle, no amount of armor, no outfit and no custom route will ever compare to having a group of friends, all with microphones set up, sufficient experience and a capability to cooperate. If you communicate, and know your team, you're likely to succeed.
Put On A Mask
A quick and easy way to lose the cops when you are in a pinch is to equip a mask when the line of sight is broken. The UI indicates whether police can actively see you with solid wanted stars, while flashing wanted stars show that though you are still being pursued, you are hidden. This is the time to conceal your face.
5 guide gta heist
Here's all the GTA 5 single player heists:
In Grand Theft Auto 5 story/single player mode it is possible to earn varying amounts of money depending on the methods used to carry out each heist. If you follow the instructions below you’ll maximize the amount you can get. If you want more money maximizing hints and tips then check out our general cash hints hereand our stock market specific tips here. They are especially useful given there is no money cheat!
Heist 1: The Jewel Store Job
On the first heist, the Jewel Store Job, choose Option B (Smart).
Take Rickie Lukens as your hacker. Other hackers may give you more time, but he will give you the perfect amount of time for this heist.
As for your gunman, you should unlock Packie McReary by completing his optional encounter. It is a random event in which he robs a store and needs help getting away. Once you help him, you can choose him for heists. He is just as good as Gustavo Mota, but hiring him is 2% cheaper. If you take Norm Richards as your gunman instead, he will crash during the getaway. You can grab his money by driving over his bag after the crash, which will give you more money, but you will lose Norm.
Take Karim Denz as your driver. The chase sequence will be more difficult, but he takes less of your money.
If you choose Option A instead, take Eddie Toh as your driver. He takes 6% more than Karim Denz, but will allow you to get $4,, (the highest possible amount), which will leave you with $1,, for Michael and $, for Franklin, significant increases over the amounts you will get if you take Karim Denz along for Option A.
Score: Your total take should be a shade under $5 million with around $ million going to Michael and just under $K going to Franklin.
Heist 2: The Merryweather Heist
Due to narrative reasons, there is no money to be made in the Merryweather Heist, so your performance or actions will have no impact on the amount you gain. This is the first time the three protagonists run a heist together.
There are two possible paths you can take when playing this heist, which depends on choices made in one of the set up missions. If you picked the Offshore route, you will need to find a submarine, steal it and take it to a drop-off point. This sub will then be used to recover the target item underwater while using the Trackify application on the in-game phone. You'll need to take the item back to the shore with a helicopter while fighting through enemies.
The other route is the Freighter route. This sees you discovering the item inside a ship's wreckage instead of just on the seabed, but the rest of the mission is largely unchanged.
Heist 3: The Paleto Score
For the third heist, the Paleto Score, you lose money every time you or one of your crew is shot in the back. You start with a maximum possible score of $8,,, however the structure of the mission means there is an unavoidable GTA$ 20, loss.
If you used Packie McReary for the Jewel Store Job (Heist 1), take him as your gunman, because his stats will be raised from that heist. Otherwise, take Chef. Both cost 2% less than Gustavo Mota, even if he may be slightly superior.
On the other hand, if you choose either Norm Richards or Daryl Johns for the heist, you’ll be forced to leave that character behind. You can pick up his share for a higher take. If you want to do this we suggest using Daryl Johns (and leaving him behind) as Norm Richards can be good to use for the final heist.
Score: Your total take should be just over GTA$8 million with around GTA$ , - , going to each of Michael, Trevor and Franklin.
Heist 4: The Bureau Raid
For the fourth heist, the Bureau Raid, choose Option B (Roof Entry).
Take Rickie Lukens as your hacker (using a better hacker will have no effect) and select Norm Richards as your gunman.
As for your driver, you need to unlock Taliana Martinez by completing her optional encounter. It is a random encounter where she will be alongside the freeway in the northeast. Save her life by driving her to Sandy Shores in time. You need her as your driver because she is one of the best, and her price is 9% lower than Eddie Toh’s. On this heist, she will wait for you in an ambulance, so you completely avoid the police. If you do not have/want to unlock Taliana Martinez, take Karim Denz as your driver. If you used him in the first heist as well, he will also have an ambulance. Otherwise, you will need to escape the police in a van.
If you choose Option A, you will not get significantly less money than in Option B, but Norm Richards will die if you take him (and he is good to have for the last heist). Take Packie McReary and Gustavo Mota instead.
Score: Michael will get nothing with Franklin receiving around GTA$ , - ,
Heist 5: The Big Score
For the fifth heist, the Big Score, choose Option B. It is possible to get $41,, per character this way.
Take Taliana Martinez as your first driver. She will successfully fly the helicopter and only takes 5% of the money. Also take Karim Denz as your second driver, so that he drives the train. The gunmen are unnecessary, so take the two cheapest gunmen you can.
If you choose Option A, the maximum amount you can get is $34,, per character. Once again, take Taliana Martinez and Karim Denz as your first and second drivers. Take either Packie McReary or Chef as your first gunman. Take Norm Richards or Daryl Johns as your second gunman. Either will save you a lot of money in this heist. Use Rickie Lukens as your hacker.
Score: Each of Trevor, Michael and Franklin should get over $41 million!

The second heist isnt about the money. The Merryweather Heist gets you a vehicle as a reward for another heist, so do not hesitate in this one and chose whichever crew you want. Just enjoy through the heist as the end is going to be the same no matter what happens.
However, in the Merryweather Heist Finding the score in the deep sea can be a little pesky, so weve attached a video of the whole heist below for your ease:

Furthermore, if you choose either Daryl Johns or Norm Richards for the heist, youll be obliged to leave that character behind. Although you can pick up his share for a higher take. If are going to do this then we recommend using Daryl Johns (and leaving him behind) because Norm Richards can be good to use for the final heist.
Score: Your total profit should be just over $8 million with about $K going to each of Michael, Trevor, and Franklin.
Heist 4: The Bureau Raid
The Bureau Raid is the fourth and the second last heist, in this one go ahead and choose Option B (The Roof Entry) without a second thought.
Select Rickie Lukens as your hacker because using a better hacker will have no effect at all. Then select Norm Richards as your gunman.
On the other hand, for your driver, you must unlock Taliana Martinez by completing her optional encounter/mission. It is an arbitrary encounter where you are going to find Taliana beside the freeway in the northeast area. Save her life by driving her to the Sandy Shores in time. You require her as your driver because she is one of the best and her asking price for the heist is 9% lower than Eddie Tohs. Surprisingly, in this heist, shell wait for you in an ambulance, so you completely avoid the police in this manner. Unfortunately, if you havent unlocked Taliana then take Karim Denz as your driver. If you used him properly in the first heist, he will also have an ambulance. Otherwise, you will have to escape the police in a van.
If you chose Option A, you arent going to get significantly less money than in Option B, but Norm Richards will die if you selected him, we cant lose him because he is worthy to have for the last heist. Take Packie McReary or Gustavo Mota instead.
Score: Michael will get zero while Franklin receiving around $K.
Heist 5: The Big Score
This is the last and the final heist, choose Option B. It is plausible to get $41,, per person this way.
